Special Boiling Point Spirit (SBPS) is produced at both Ardalan Refinery and Jibal Khadra Refinery in Al-Muthanna Governorate. It is a purified, narrow-cut hydrocarbon fraction refined from naphtha, used across petrochemical processing, industrial solvent applications, and specialty chemical manufacturing.
Each refinery has an annual production capacity of around 200,000 tonnes, with a combined capacity of around 400,000 tonnes per year.
